Pilates & Therapeutic Movement
Involves movement and therapeutic exercise session that helps to optimize function and overall health. Lindsay incorporates pilates within her movement sessions which is integrative in nature and complementary to her osteopathy treatments. Pilates facilitates a body-mind connection and increased self awareness and mindfulness.
Pilates based movements and exercises can be adapted to each individual. Movements can be be done with no equipment or pilates based equipment such as reformer, springboard or arc. Other non-pilates based equipment and tools can be used such as tubing, TRX, therabands, stability balls, weights.
As a Kinesiologist and Athletic Therapist, Lindsay has expertise in functional based exercise and movement patterns as well as sport specific training. Her holistic approach to health and practice in preventative medicine are incorporated in her pilates and movement sessions. Lindsay incorporates her knowledge and expertise from athletic therapy, kinesiology, restorative yoga, eldoa into her movement sessions.
One on one private or semi-private sessions are available. 30 minutes or 60 minutes sessions.
Option of doing in-person or virtual/on-line.

Athletic Therapist’s are trained in the assessment, prevention, immediate care and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and athletic injuries. An Athletic Therapist has a solid understanding of the biomechanics of sports and expertise in functional based training, sport specific training and rehabilitation.
A Certified Athletic Therapist utilizes contemporary rehabilitative techniques, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, physical reconditioning, and supportive taping procedures to promote an environment conductive to optimal healing in preparing the individual for safe integration into an active lifestyle or return to activity/sport.
Although specializing in the athletic community, Athletic Therapists work with individuals of all ages and abilities to help them regain functional movement.
An Athletic Therapist is also trained as a First responder in sport setting emergencies including concussion management.
